Who are Mentors?

We are looking for developers, analysts, AI and security experts, UX/UI designers, technical leaders, product and project managers, lawyers, academics, entrepreneurs, and more. All technology enthusiasts, boundary-pushers, and subject matter experts in the announced tasks are welcome.

Are you interested in biohacking, defence, or travel? That's great - those are Open Task topics, and we need you! Are you a specialist in your field? Even better - join the HackYeah conference as a speaker and share your knowledge, Master! (Psst, you can be both a Mentor and a Speaker 😎). If these topics are not in your area of interest, don't worry! More tasks will be announced over time.

What do Mentors do?

That's easy! They help participants turn ideas into final projects!

Mentors are expected to provide guidance, share knowledge and experience, and encourage discussion. Sometimes, the most crucial role is being the voice of reason and helping participants stay focused. Mentors support participants in creating the best possible projects - but hey, don't do the job for them!

Communication between Participants and Mentors will take place mainly at the venue in Kraków, but there’s also the option to help via Discord.

Is this your first time mentoring?

Don’t worry! You’ll receive full support and a briefing from us. There’s also a dedicated channel for mentors on our Discord server, where you can share experiences, tips, and just have a chat!

What's the process?

As a Mentor, you’ll get:

• Fill in the form below until 25 May 2025.
• We’ll carefully assess all applications.
• Check your inbox at the beginning of June (by the 10th) - we’ll let you know if you’re in!
• If selected, we’ll publish you as a Mentor on the website, invite you to Discord, and send further details.
